This Project Took Decades To Plan
It took a really long time to plan and execute a non-stop train journey due to the lack of insufficient technological advancement during the initial years. In fact, it took decades to find such a relevant technology for this train.
Due to the two different types of railway tracks in Switzerland; a standard track and a mountain track, it was impossible for the trains to make the transition between these tracks. Things changed in 2008 when the idea came to alter the coaches.
If you are jetting off to Switzerland this winter holiday season, make sure to take a ride on the GoldenPass Express and witness the majestic scenic beauty passing by.
