This is a 6-lane greenfield expressway. It will be a major connection between Faridabad in Haryana and the Noida International Airport, also known as the Jewar International Airport. Connecting the airport in Uttar Pradesh and Faridabad’s Sector 65, one of the biggest advantages of the 6-lane expressway will be its contribution to reducing the overall distance and travel time between these two places. The distance is 90 km between Faridabad and the airport. Soon the expressway will reduce the distance between these two spots to 31 km.
According to a report by India.com, the Faridabad Jewar Airport Expressway is likely to be opened on June 20, 2025. Once the expressway gets opened for vehicular movement, it will connect Faridabad with many important highways. Some of these highways are the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, Eastern Peripheral Expressway, Western Peripheral Expressway, and Yamuna Expressway, as per a report by Magicbricks.
Once operational, the Faridabad Jewar Airport Expressway will cross many villages in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. It will cover Bahpur, Chanawali, Chhaysa, Fafunda, Hirapur, Jhuppa, Kalan, Mohana, Panhera Khurd, and Shahupura in Haryana, among others. Some of the villages that the expressway will traverse in Uttar Pradesh are Amarpur, Dayanatpur, Farida Bangar, and Vallabhnagar.
