And to aid fellow compatriots, a Filipino expat has rolled out a fantastic service that lets Filipinos pay for these extension fees in installments. Here’s all about it.

Now Filipino visitors in the UAE can pay their visa extension fees with ease. This has resulted due to the option of paying this fee in installments through a new online service. According to a report by Khaleej Times, it was revealed that Balikbayan Store, which is a recently launched platform wherein tourist visa extension fees can be paid later. An app by a Filipino expat, Michelle Guinto, who wanted to help her fellow compatriots in the UAE, this pay later offer for tourist visa extension is especially a great option for those who are facing financial strains.

Until When Is This Offer Available?

As it happens, ever since the promo’s launch, 20 Filipinos had already signed up for this offer in a matter of two days. At this point, it should be noted that visas can be extended for a month for AED900. So, if this is converted into four instalments through a payment, getaway called Tabby, a tourist will have to pay about AED225 per month. However, it’s worth noting that this app basically offers boxes and packages of groceries in home appliances, that Filipino can pay in instalments. Moreover, this promo will be available throughout the year.

This development comes after recently, it was also reported that some tourists are flying to a new country and returning back to the UAE on a new visa instead of getting their visa extended through the in-country option. This has been a more economical way of getting one’s visa extended.
