Air India is ready to upgrade your travel plans this July with exciting new flight additions. Starting 7 July 2025, the airline will add more daily flights to Kathmandu, Colombo, and Bangkok. These flights will operate directly from Delhi and Mumbai, making travel quicker and more convenient. This expansion focuses on comfort, flexibility, and improved global access for passengers. Over 7,000 extra weekly seats will be available across these popular South Asian routes. Better flight timings ensure easier holidays and smoother business trips for all kinds of travellers. Premium cabin options, including Premium Economy, will offer a more comfortable flying experience. Whether it’s a Himalayan retreat or beach escape, your trip just became more enjoyable and stress-free.

Air India’s New Flights, More Options & Better Connectivity

Say goodbye to inflexible travel schedules! Air India is boosting frequencies with a sixth daily flight between Delhi and Kathmandu, a second daily service to Colombo, and a third daily flight from Mumbai to Bangkok. This means 42 weekly flights to Kathmandu, 28 to Colombo, and 46 to Bangkok. The added routes are not only perfect for short getaways but also offer efficient one-stop international links to the US, Europe, and East Asia, thanks to improved flight timings and connections.

Premium Comfort On Narrowbody Aircraft

Air India isn’t just increasing the number of flights—it’s improving the journey itself. Flights to Kathmandu and Bangkok will be operated using the airline’s best narrowbody aircraft featuring a three-class cabin layout—Economy, Premium Economy, and Business. For travellers looking for extra space without a first-class fare, Premium Economy is the sweet spot. Think extra legroom, better meals, and a refined in-flight experience.

Part Of Air India’s Big Aviation Reboot

This move is part of Vihaan.AI, Air India’s bold five-year transformation plan launched after its return to Tata Sons in 2022. The airline has merged with Vistara, ordered 570 new aircraft, and opened a state-of-the-art aviation academy. These new flights reflect Air India’s broader vision: creating a world-class, Indian-rooted global airline that meets international standards in service, scale, and connectivity.
