Starting September 2025, Chișinău and Iași will join flydubai’s expanding list of hotspots. If those names sound like tongue-twisters, they’re not, just charming Eastern European cities waiting to be explored. Chișinău, Moldova’s quirky capital, has Soviet architecture, leafy parks, and underrated wine. Iași, meanwhile, Romania’s cultural darling, offers history, poetry, and more Orthodox churches than you can count.

Then, come December 2025, flydubai will open on two more exciting routes, Riga in Latvia and Vilnius in Lithuania. With this Baltic breakthrough, the airline now boasts over 100 destinations worldwide and a strong 35 routes across 20 European countries. Yes, the network got bigger, bolder, and more exciting.

Here’s the real show: flydubai is the first UAE airline to fly directly to Iași International Airport. So if you’ve been waiting to visit Romania, your gateway just opened.

Timings, Terminals And Travel Twists

Now, let’s talk logistics because the airline has done its homework. Flights to Chișinău and Iași will operate twice a week from Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport (DXB). Meanwhile, passengers bound for Vilnius or Riga can expect three weekly flights taking off from the sleek and swanky Terminal 3. Pick your terminal, pack your bag, and you’re all set.

In a smart move, Emirates will codeshare on all four new routes. That means more flexibility, more seat choices, and a seamless connection through Dubai’s globe-trotting hub.  And yes, bookings are now open.
