We all undergo the tremendous stress of carrying essential documents while taking a flight. Doesn’t matter if you have travelled a gazillion times, the anxiety to be on-time and not miss out on any supporting travel document always creep-in. What if you don’t need to care about it anymore and travel without the pressure? IATA might be coming up with something futuristic in the travel industry.
Get Ready To Travel Passport-Free And Drop The Wait At The Check-In Kiosks
IATA is moving to bring in some major changes to the aviation industry. Industry guidelines created by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) will move the goal of having passengers arrive at airports prepared to fly one step closer to reality. Travellers will be able to digitally establish their admission to a foreign country using the recently announced Recommended Practice on Digitalization of Admissibility, skipping a stop at the check-in counter or boarding gate for document checks.
These changes will bring in a hassle-free travel experience over the globe.

What Is One ID Initiative By IATA?
One ID Initiative is a moment of bringing a contactless travel experience. Airlines are working in collaboration with IATA to bring this revolutionary initiative to reality. The biometric processes to digitalize the passenger experience at airports will be a profound move.
Many airports currently have programmes in place that allow passengers to board flights without having to provide paper identification since their boarding permit is connected to a biometric identity. However, in many instances, passengers would still need to present physical checks of paper papers to establish their eligibility at a check-in desk or boarding gate.
An app is in creation that will create a unified travel id for every passenger where you can submit all the necessary documents. Receive an electronic approval of admissibility through their digital identification or passport app. Share the validated credentials with their airline, but not all of their information. Go to the airport after receiving confirmation from their airline that everything is in order.
With a click, sail smoothly through the airport to your flight and miss out on long queues.
