She made this floral design cake for Mother’s Day and it’s simply stunning.

Food Blogger Takes Floral Cake Design To A Whole New Level

Maddison Koutrouba is a food blogger and she makes some of the most beautiful cakes you’ll see on the Internet. For Mother’s Day, Maddison made a delicious sponge cake with a floral design and posted about it on her Instagram page. What’s interesting is that these flowers weren’t designed with cream or fondant but were rather baked with the cake!

In the now-viral video, Maddison Koutrouba is seen tracing flowers on parchment paper with an edible marker. She then moves to prepare a basic sponge cake batter. From there, she works with egg yolk and egg whites, folds it in the cake batter, and scoops out some of it to mix it with different edible colours. From there, Maddison patiently traces each flower on the parchment sheet with different coloured batter and then finally adds the remaining sponge cake batter on top of the design before putting the cake in the oven. The result is this beautiful floral cake that is winning everyone’s hearts on the Internet!
