Food Zone Catering Contracts Outlet In Abu Dhabi Closed For Food Safety Violation & Public Health Risks

Food lovers, brace yourselves, Abu Dhabi has one less option on its culinary map, and it’s not because of a menu change. The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) has closed Food Zone Catering Contracts in the Mafraq Industrial Area for violating food safety regulations. This decision comes after the establishment was caught red-handed with a buffet of food safety violations that have made their way onto the naughty list of Abu Dhabi’s food regulations.

Abu Dhabi’s Food Zone Catering Violates Food Laws & Endangering Health

ADAFSA announced that Food Zone Catering Contracts violated Law No. 2 of 2008, which governs food safety standards across Abu Dhabi. The restaurant has endangered public health on a different level. The authority emphasised that the outlet’s practices posed serious risks to customers, forcing them to take immediate action.

While food safety is non-negotiable, this isn’t the first recent case in Abu Dhabi. Just last week, Amir Al Sham Restaurant and Grills also faced closure. Despite numerous warnings, they failed to address an insect infestation, talk about unappetising! ADAFSA doesn’t seem to be in the mood for second chances when public health is on the line and rightfully so.

Food Safety First!

With the Food Zone outlet now officially out of the running, ADAFSA continues to send a clear message. It seems that when it comes to food safety, ADAFSA isn’t afraid to crack down hard, leaving no room for excuses or unsanitary practices.

Sure, we love a good food joint, but no one wants an extra side of health risks. More inspections will likely follow as Abu Dhabi remains committed to upholding its food safety standards.

In conclusion, while Abu Dhabi’s food scene continues to thrive, the authorities ensure it doesn’t do so at the expense of public health. Whether it’s the occasional fly in the soup or more significant violations, ADAFSA is on it. So next time you’re dining out, you can rest easy knowing that they’ve got your back. Abu Dhabi’s eateries would do well to take note and ensure they serve up not just delicious meals, but safe and clean ones too.
