Dubai’s sourdough loyalists can now run to a newly opened spot in Nad Al Sheba. Blu Pizzeria arrived in this Dubai neighbourhood in January. It has brought its signature Napoli-style pies to mark the launch, and the brand is doing something smart. It is introducing a pizza created exclusively for this location.

Called the Nad Al Sheba Pizza, the new dish has entered the menu, signalling the start of a local chapter at Blu Pizzeria. Details shared in a received press release confirm that the opening continues Blu’s steady expansion across the UAE and beyond.

Built By An Emirati Founder With A Clear Vision

Blu Pizzeria was founded by Emirati entrepreneur Abdelrahman Alteneij. His approach has always balanced technique with identity, and the foundation focuses on classic Napoli-style pizza that fermented long and cooked in Wood-fired ovens. Light, airy crusts with just the right char.

Alteneiji is inspired by his travels and regional flavours and uses them to create unique pizzas that feel familiar. The result is food that respects tradition but is not rigid for a specific recipe. 

A Pizza Designed For The Neighbourhood

The Nad Al Sheba Pizza features premium Black Angus meat, seasoned with Arabic spices and finished with a subtle balsamic glaze. The flavours are warm and savoury. The airy crust stays true to Blu’s style.

Alongside it, fans will still find familiar favourites like the Short Ribs Pizza and other house staples that built Blu’s reputation in the first place.

A Space Made for Community, Not Rush

The new Nad Al Sheba location has curated a space that promotes slower meals, families and regulars. The interior uses warm neutral tones, natural textures, and a calm, minimal layout. An open kitchen puts the wood-fired oven front and centre, making it quite theatrical. The design was conceptualised and executed by Movs Studio. The standout feature is a sculptural travertine bar counter that cuts diagonally through the space.
