Healthy Coca-Cola Drink In Japan
Coca-Cola Plus was introduced in Japan in March 2017. It is also known as Coca-Cola Fiber+ and is considered the healthiest drink in Japan. It offers benefits like reduced fat absorption and lower triglycerides. This drink is labelled as FOSHU, which means that the Japanese government has approved the benefits it claims to offer.
Unlike other soft drinks, this healthy drink has no sugar and is calorie-free. As per The Times of India, Coca-Cola Plus is prepared with five grams of indigestible dextrin, a type of dietary fibre, along with other fibres that help aid digestion. One of its key benefits is that it absorbs the fat in the food, instead of digesting it.

According to STEVEN W.’s (@allstarsteven), a digital creator from Tokyo, Japan, video, he mentioned that one study claims that having this healthy Coca-Cola for 10 straight days can make you poop twice as much. This happens because the drink blocks the fat. When you consume this drink with something greasy, instead of letting it get digested, this drink makes it pass through your body.
If you’re wondering whether, like most healthy drinks, this one tastes bitter, you’re wrong. The best part about Coca-Cola Plus is that it tastes the same as your normal Coke. Kudos to Coca-Cola for this healthy initiative. The drink ensures you stay healthy without compromising on the taste. Are you looking forward to trying this healthy version of Coca-Cola?
