Swiggy, India’s quick commerce platform, has now released its Summer Trends 2026 report, highlighting how consumers across India beat the heat with seasonal favourites such as mango-based treats, coconut coolers, iced coffee and healthy food items. Here’s more on this report!
Swiggy Summer Trends 2026 Revealed
Summer gives us an excuse to indulge in cool treats, beverages to beat the heat and make ourselves feel cool and refreshed from within. These choices often reflect in our shopping carts. Keeping this in mind, Swiggy has now revealed its Summer Trends 2026, showing how and what people ordered this summer.
As temperatures soared this summer, the demand for desserts grew 19.2% YoY, while the demand for cold beverages increased 20.7% YoY. Mango lovers would be happy to know that the ‘king of fruits’ was also the ‘king of the season’ this summer. People across the country ordered several mango-flavoured treats such as desserts and ice creams. Their demand showed a 19.3% YoY growth.
Swiggy delivered 1,547 Mango Lassis every day during the season, making it one of the most-ordered mango beverages. You won’t believe that a customer in Bhopal placed a single order of 120 pieces of mango cake on Swiggy. Not just that, but a user in Mumbai also spent ₹16,644 on an order of 38 units of Mango Gateau.

Coffee, Coconut And Healthy Food Also Saw Huge Demand
Apart from mango, coconut flavour also ruled the charts. The demand for coconut-flavoured ice cream grew 13.4% YoY during the two-month period. A customer in Central Goa ordered 60 units of tender coconut ice cream in a single order.
To stay cool, customers also turned to cold beverages. While mango, orange, watermelon, strawberry and pineapple were the top favourites, it was coffee and mocha that stole the show. Demand for coffee and mocha-based drinks increased 38.4% YoY, with orders peaking between 4 pm and 9 pm.
Along with that, Swiggy also observed a strong demand for healthy and conscious options, with an 84% YoY growth in demand for high-protein food. Not just that, but the report also showed a 105% YoY growth in demand for low-calorie food. Many customers also opted for zero-sugar and sugar-free foods.
