Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are finally married, and we’re in awe of their wedding ceremony! The couple had a traditional Telugu ceremony in the morning, followed by a Kodava wedding in the evening, beautifully honouring both their heritages. Beyond the rituals, they also paid tribute to their roots through the wedding menu, treating guests to a lavish spread that blended Andhra and Kodava flavours.

Decked in a rust-hued saree with gold accents, Rashmika Mandanna looked every bit the regal Indian bride, and don’t even get us started on Vijay Deverakonda! The actor exuded royal charm, leaving everyone in complete awe. After teasing fans with hints of their wedding festivities, the couple shared official wedding pictures on their respective social media accounts later on February 26.

Coming to the thing we are most excited about–the food at the wedding! As per Moneycontrol, the wedding menu featured a lavish spread that blended Andhra and Kodava flavours, offering guests an elaborate culinary experience. Staying true to Telugu wedding traditions, guests were reportedly served meals on banana leaves. The elaborate spread featured over 25 dishes, celebrating the rich flavours of Telangana-Andhra and Kodava cuisines.

A Lavish Spread Blending Andhra & Kodava Flavours

At the wedding of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, guests indulged in a flavour-packed Telugu spread featuring dishes like natukodi pulusu, Hyderabadi dum biryani, garelu, pappu, pachhi pulusu, gongura chutney and curd rice. The food perfectly captured the spice and comfort of a traditional Telugu celebration.

To honour Rashmika’s Kodava heritage, the menu also included specialities such as kadambuttu, noolputtu, bamboo shoot curry and the iconic Kodava pork curry, popularly known as pandi curry, a dish celebrated for its bold spices and distinctive flavour.

The sweetest bit? Pinkvilla reported that Vijay ensured all of Rashmika’s favourite desserts were included in the menu as she has a major sweet tooth!
