Inside Karan Johar’s Tokyo Trip
Karan Johar recently shared pictures from his Tokyo trip on social media, and they are giving full travel mood vibes. The first image shows the iconic Shibuya Crossing, one of Tokyo’s busiest spots, surrounded by tall commercial buildings, bright Japanese billboards, and plenty of restaurants and bars. Another photo features a huge Canmake Tokyo billboard placed above a burger joint called The Smash Scramble.
His Tokyo photo dump also showed how attractive a vending machine can be. The bright pink soda vending machine looked super eye-catching and almost aesthetic in its own way. He also gave a glimpse of the elegant lobby at The Peninsula Tokyo, screaming “all luxury”. Also, the cherry blossom tree has all our hearts. On the fashion side, he visited some high-end spots like Comme des Garçons flagship store, Gentle Monster’s Aoyama outlet, and Isabel Marant’s flagship boutique.

What He Ate In Tokyo
Karan Johar was not only impressed by the aesthetics of Tokyo but also by the food, which he mentioned in his caption. He shared that he enjoyed some amazing food moments during his trip. He tried matcha-coated desserts that felt like little dreamy bites on his nights in the city. He also had the popular 7-Eleven egg sandwich, a must-try in Japan.
The producer is very much impressed with Tokyo and appreciates its cleanliness and hygiene, well-organised daily life, and the politeness of people everywhere.
