No Detox Drinks Needed; Delhi Gastroenterologist Shares 3 Ways To Clear Your Gut Naturally

Gut issues are no joke. They not only make your stomach ache but can also lead to poor sleep, stress, bloating, and more. But the good news is that there are natural ways you can adopt to deal with this problem. A gastroenterologist has now shared three simple ways to clear your gut that do not require any fancy ingredients. Keep reading to know how.

3 Best Ways To Clear The Gut Naturally

These days, gut issues have become so common that every third individual complains about them. Gut problems can affect the gastrointestinal tract and cause abdominal pain, infection, and more. Social media is full of recipes and detox drinks that claim to reverse these problems in days. But the truth is, a healthy gut does not need detox drinks, just the right daily habits.

Dr Shubham Vatsya, a senior gastroenterologist from Fortis Hospital, Vasant Kunj, Delhi, has shared three natural ways to clear your gut on his official Instagram account. The first is to start eating fibre-rich foods daily. This includes fruits, vegetables, and whole grains that nourish good bacteria. Fibre also helps ease bowel movements and reduces constipation.

Stay Well Hydrated And Move Daily For Better Digestion

According to Dr Shubham, the second step is to stay well hydrated with around 3 litres of water daily. Water is essential for smooth digestion. It helps break down food and supports proper nutrient absorption. Drinking enough water is one of the simplest and most effective ways to keep your digestive system functioning well.

The third way is to add regular movement. A brisk walk of at least 10,000 steps daily can help stimulate gut mobility. The doctor also wrote, “Focus on these simple habits consistently, and your gut will take care of the rest.” Honestly, these three ways to keep your gut healthy do not require any fancy ingredients or detox drinks. They are simple lifestyle habits based on what you eat, how much water you drink, and how active you are.
