Zomato Banned Sale Of Analogue Dairy Dishes
Zomato is getting strict on food quality. The online food delivery platform has now introduced a zero-tolerance policy against restaurants selling dishes with analogue dairy. If they fail to follow the policy, the platform will remove those eateries from its platform, meaning customers will no longer get to see their photos, menu, and more.
Zomato said the decision is a consumer-first step. It is aimed at improving transparency and maintaining food quality across its platform. The company also wants restaurant partners to ensure that the ingredients they use are correctly represented on their menus.

Remove Dishes From The Menu
Zomato has launched this policy with immediate effect. Restaurants can switch from analogue dairy products to natural dairy products. If an immediate change is not possible, restaurants must remove dishes containing analogue dairy from their menus.
Zomato has made it clear that restaurants that continue to remain non-compliant could be delisted from the platform.
On the new policy, Aditya Mangla, CEO, Zomato, said: “At Zomato, our core mission is better food for more people, and that means safeguarding customer health and upholding clear standards for what’s listed and served by our restaurant partners. This policy reflects that commitment, one we’re taking together with partners who share it.”
