Residents of Abu Dhabi will begin receiving free parking and the ‘Darb’ toll on Sundays instead of Fridays as of July 15. The Department of Municipalities and Transport made the announcement. Here’s How Much Darb Gates in Abu Dhabi Will Cost Now
Drivers will be charged Dh4 each time they pass through a Darb toll gate between 7 am and 9 am and 5 pm and 7 pm, Monday through Saturday. The maximum that they may charge each day for a car is Dh16. There is a limit of Dh200 per month for a family’s first vehicle and Dh150 per month for any additional cars they own.

What Else Has Changed?
The authorities also modified the schedules for the floating bridges to suit the new weekend. On the other hand, parking in Sharjah is a paid service from Saturday to Thursday and is accessible on Fridays around the city, except for zones with information signs in blue.
