Flying soon? Buckle up, because things are wild up there. The latest conflict in the Middle East has made global travel a little stressful, no matter where you’re flying. And, it’s not only affecting the Middle East. The ripple effects are hitting airports and travellers all over the globe. So if you or planning a trip or already got a ticket, here’s what’s going on with the travel schedule globally.

Airlines Affected Due To The Ongoing Crisis In the Middle East

1. Singapore Airlines
With the ongoing conditions, flights from and to Dubai are suspended temporarily and monitored

2. British Airways
You won’t be able to fly to Dubai, Doha, and Tel Aviv till at least the end of June.

3. Air France-KLM
No flights to Dubai until June 24. Beirut flights are grounded until June 25, and Tel Aviv service is paused until July 14.

4. Finnair
All flights to Doha and over Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Israel are suspended through June 30.

5. United Airlines
Dubai flights are suspended until July 3. Tel Aviv flights are not expected to resume before August.

6. Air Canada
Toronto–Dubai service is paused as of June 18. Future flights are subject to ongoing assessment.

7. Ryanair & Wizz Air
Both carriers have halted Tel Aviv service until at least September. Wizz Air has also suspended flights over several Middle Eastern airspaces.

8. Qantas
London and Paris flights from Perth are being rerouted or, in some cases, turned back to avoid restricted zones.

9. Air India
Flights to the Middle East, select European cities, and the US East Coast are on hold as a precaution.

10. El Al & Israir
Most international and rescue flights are paused until late June or early July.

Impacts Beyond the Middle East

1. Ahmedabad Airport, India
Regional Airspace closures are the reason behind continued delays and cancellations. Please confirm flight status before departure.

2. Mangaluru International Airport, India
Expect airline delays and last-minute updates. Keep an eye on the social media pages of the airlines and airports for further updates.

3. Cochin International Airport, India
Flights Doha, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and others are rerouted, delayed and even cancelled. Please check with the airlines providing real-time updates about the schedules.

4. Edinburgh Airport, UK
A high unpredictability of current flight operations at the airport after a Qatar airways flight flying to Doha was diverted to Istanbul.

5. Zurich Airport, Switzerland
Swiss Airlines have rerouted all Dubai-bound flights to Antalya, Turkey.

6. Oslo, Dublin & Stockholm Airports
Lufthansa, EasyJet, Wizz Air, and others are rerouting or suspending some flights to avoid high-risk areas.

7. Copenhagen & Milan (Transavia)
Transavia has paused service to Beirut and Tel Aviv pending ongoing safety reviews.

Key Travel Advisories

1. Delhi Airport, India
Expect delays or rerouting of international flights and verify with your airline before reaching the airport.

2. US Travel Advisory for UAE
A Level 2 advisory (“Exercise Increased Caution”) has been issued by the US State Department while the Embassy operations are active.

3. IndiGo Airlines
Airlines are gradually resuming travel towards the Middle East region, keeping the safety of passengers in mind.

Stay informed about the recent changes in the travel industry before planning any trip.
