Etihad Airways is an Abu Dhabi-based airline that hardly needs any introduction. Always trying to offer great services to its customers, it recently announced its plans to expand its network. Yes, it announced on Tuesday, July 15, that seven new destinations will now be added to the network of Abu Dhabi-based carrier and here’s all you need to know about this.

Etihad Airways Adds 7 New Destinations To Its Network

Etihad Airways took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce that it will be introducing seven new destinations on its network of flights. Yes, it will not be expanding its services to the destinations of:

  • Almaty, Kazakhstan
  • Baku, Azerbaijan
  • Bucharest, Romania
  • Madina, Saudi Arabia
  • Tbilisi, Georgia
  • Tashkent, Uzbekistan
  • Yerevan, Armenia

Recently, The Airline Launched New Flights

As it happens, tickets for these destinations go on sale in the next few days. And it is expected that the services will begin in March 2026; However, Madina will begin its operations in November 2025. At this point, it’s worth mentioning that now the number of new destinations introduced by Etihad in 2025 stands at 27. In fact, it was just recently that Etihad launched its inaugural flights to Prague, Warsaw, Atlanta, and Sochi.

When Do These New Flights Begin?

As mentioned previously, flights to Madina begin on November 9, with flights on six days. Coming to Baku, the airline will begin the flights on March 2 2026 and will run 10 weekly flights. For Yerevan, the flights will be 10 times a week from March 9 onwards. For Tbilisi and Almaty, there will be eight flights in a week from March 13 and 16, respectively. While the flight services to Bucharest will be with 4 weekly flights from March 16 onwards. Flights to Tashkent will be served by six weekly flights from March 17 onwards.
