Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport got a threat email on Thursday threatening to blow up Terminal 2 in a span of 48 hours if the concerned authorities do not listen to the demands of the blackmailer. The mail sender demanded a payment of the major amount of $1 million in Bitcoin to stop the scary bombing at Terminal 2 of the Mumbai International Airport. The airport authorities received the mail from quaidacasrol@gmail.com. Soon, the investigation process to know all about the threat and the blackmailer began.
2. Jeddah-Hyderabad Indigo Flight Made An Emergency Landing In Pakistan
A Hyderabad-bound Indigo flight made an emergency landing in Pakistan’s Karachi on Thursday. The decision to divert the international flight en route and land in Karachi was taken because of a medical emergency faced by one of the passengers inside the plane. On IndiGo flight 6E 68’s arrival in Karachi, a doctor checked the passenger. Sadly, the patient was declared dead on arrival.
3. Dubai-Bound SpiceJet Flight Delayed For A Long Time
In a recent incident of delayed flights, a SpiceJet flight bound for Dubai was over 10 hours late from Pune. On Wednesday, the scheduled departure timing of the Flight SG-51 was 8 PM. But it took off at about 6:20 AM on Thursday, according to a report by The Times of India. Passengers had to wait so long for their flight to finally take off towards their destination. 4. Kolkata Airport All Set To Bring New Changes
Kolkata’s Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport is going to celebrate its 100th year in 2024 and before celebrating the historical day, the authorities are planning to make some big and major enhancements and developments. The plans are to improve the handling capacity of tourists with an increase of 2 million every year. Along with this, the handling capacity of flights is going to increase as well from 35 flights in an hour to 45 in an hour, according to a report by The Times of India.
5. Airlines Left To Include In DigiYatra Facility At Pune Airport
DigiYatra facilities have been introduced in different Indian airports and Pune airport is one of them. Unfortunately, not all airlines have been integrated with this new fascinating service yet. As passengers are facing issues while following the check-in process, Darhysheel Vandekar, an air traffic expert, wrote a letter to the Airport Authority of India’s Chairman, according to a report by Punekar News. The Chairman responded that Air Asia will soon be included in the DigiYatra system. Right now, passengers flying with Air India, Akasa Air, IndiGo, SpiceJet, and Vistara can avail of the DigiYatra facility at the Pune airport.
