According to a report by TimeOut, Changi Airport transformed into a candy-themed wonderland from now all the way till March 31, 2024. You can head to the airport for not just travel purposes but also a plethora of festive surprises. There are themed pop-ups, carnival games, a snow house and so much more that you must look forward to.

Nestled in Terminal 3’s departure hall, (T3) Candy Wonderland is the theme of this year’s Christmas celebration at Changi Airport. It’s like visiting a delicious home right out of the Hansel & Gretel storybook. Walk down the candy lane, witness the gingerbread house and get awestruck to see the picturesque Christmas decor.

A 5-metre tall cuddle bear welcomes passengers while a 7-metre tall cupcake Ferris wheel adds to the excitement. Apart from these gorgeous decor pieces, you can also participate in a light and snow show which adds to the festive mood. The show will also have buckers, jugglers and a live marching band getting you excited for Christmas with foot-tapping carols.

Moreover, Changi Airport makes sure you have all the right gifting options for your loved ones in one place. So, you can shop for cute clothes, toys, and other gifts for your loved ones. Apart from retail therapy, explore the themed pop-ups at Terminals 2 and 3. You can click the cutest festive photos at the pop-ups. Also, as you arrive at the T3 arrival hall, you can participate in exciting carnival games and win Changi-exclusive prizes.

For kids, there’s an inflatable Candy Bounce castle where they can jump to their hearts’ delight. The Singapore Art for its Christmas celebrations also has a go-kart course called Candy Kart. And if that wasn’t enough, there’s also a candy-coated train and merry-go-round.

It’s pretty interesting to know that you can spend hours experiencing the airport’s unique festive offerings. The journey is indeed better than the destination, as you can participate in carnival games, witness the yummiest decor, shop to your heart’s content and let your kids have a gala time.

A Candylicious Night at the Airport is all about letting children express themselves creatively through chocolate. They can create edible pieces of art like chocolate truffle balls and then paint them with edible colours. After the chocolate art jamming workshops, they can let off some steam at the candy-themed tents.

The best part is you don’t even need to step out of the airport to experience ice and snow. The Candy Snow House has intricately carved ice sculptures. A 5-metre-long snow slide or a 3-metre-long ice lug are other fun winter experiences for kids. You can also play mini golf on ice and ride snow scooters and a hand-pulled sleigh. Finally, don’t forget to feast on nachos, Korean cheese coin pancakes and other delish treats.
