These confections will feature premium ingredients, exquisite packaging, and unique flavour combinations. Mithai makers are expected to put creative spins on classic favourites, ensuring these treats remain central to festive celebrations while appealing to evolving, modern tastes.

The shift towards mindful eating is reshaping how we enjoy traditional sweets. 67.3% of experts predict a rise in demand for special diet versions of mithai. 2024 will witness a surge in low-sugar alternatives, sugar-free sweeteners, and vegan options. These offerings cater to the growing number of health-conscious consumers, allowing them to indulge in festive treats without compromising their dietary choices. This trend reflects a broader movement toward inclusivity in food.
