Dubai To Peshawar PIA Flight Reschedule Arrival After Emergency Landing
Within minutes of take-off, something didn’t feel quite right. The plane, en route to Peshawar, suddenly found itself in a malfunctioning pickle. With swift action from Dubai’s air traffic control, Flight PK 284 made a timely U-turn, touching down safely just 40 minutes after departure.
Passengers, eager to reunite with family or enjoy a hot chai in Peshawar, were understandably less than thrilled. Instead of an early morning arrival, they were cooling their heels in the lounge while the aircraft underwent an in-depth inspection. The updated schedule now has them touching down in Peshawar at 1:30 PM PST. So much for that 9 AM ETA.
PIA Flights Grounded, Delayed, and Canceled
If you think that was the only air-bound drama today, think again. PIA seems to be having a rough day on all fronts. Due to some mysterious “administrative issues,” six flights across Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad were straight-up cancelled. For the unlucky few still hoping to fly, twelve other flights are facing delays, some clocking in at a staggering six hours.
Among the unlucky journeys, Karachi to Jeddah, and Islamabad to Karachi faced cancellations. International flights from Istanbul to Karachi weren’t spared, experiencing delays of nearly four hours, while Lahore to Dubai flights also got the axe.
And if you thought flying domestically within Pakistan was safer? Nope. Flights between major cities like Islamabad, Karachi, and Lahore faced delays ranging from one hour to an eyebrow-raising 6 hours.
