Sushmita Sen Shares Her Favourite Destinations Around The World
After endless talks about food and bonding over it, we discussed travelling. Towards the end of the video, we asked Sushmita about what travel means to her. She replied in one word, “Everything!” Then, recalled how she would express in various interviews about the ultimate goal in her life — to travel the world!
Sushmita said, “There was a time when I used to tell in all my interviews that I have to make money because I need to travel! That’s it.” She continued that there was no need for her to do any savings as the urge to travel was rippling inside her. Needless to say, she loves to travel and wishes to explore every nook and corner of the unexplored destinations on her bucket list.
Next, she highlighted her favourite destinations in the world. They are South of France, especially the French Riviera, Positano (Italy), Sardinia, Backwaters of India, Kerala, Goa, and hill stations in North India and Rajasthan. Rajasthan is also where her show ‘Aarya’ was filmed. Hence, she had the opportunity to explore this state with more time, depth and knowledge. She thoroughly enjoyed doing so!

She Has Seen Kerala Like No One Else

Sushmita also mentioned that the south of India is so enchanting that people will be stunned to see India in its true glory! There are many quaint places in Kerala which might make you question whether you are abroad or in India. She said, “A lot of my friends and family are from Kerala. So there are places that I am sure none of you have been to.”
Due to her close relations with people living in Kerala, she had to chance to witness God’s Own Country like never before. It is always an advantage when a local takes you to explore their city or town! The hidden gems, quaint unexplored places, the delish local cuisine and more just feel like you hit a jackpot.
