From J&K To Arunachal Pradesh, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh To Launch 75 Infrastructure Projects Worth ₹2,236 Cr

To give India’s an infrastructural boost, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is all set to inaugurate 75 infrastructure projects, worth ₹2,236 crore, in different states on October 12. Rajnath Singh To Launch 75 Projects Worth ₹2,236 Cr Across India

In a bid to improve India’s infrastructure, military mobility and logistics support, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will inaugurate 75 projects. BRO has constructed roads and bridges in various parts of the country as part of this massive infrastructural growth. As per an India Today report, these projects have been built in Jammu and Kashmir (19), Ladakh (11), Arunachal Pradesh (18), Uttrakhand (9), Sikkim (6), Himachal Pradesh (5), West Bengal (2), Rajasthan (2), Nagaland (1), Mizoram (1), and Andaman & Nicobar Islands (1).

As per reports, this will bring the BRO infrastructure projects tally for this year to 111! The agency built 125 infrastructure projects worth ₹3,611 crore last year. These numbers are a testament to India’s growing infrastructural power. Rajnath Singh recently praised BRO. He commended the agency’s commitment towards building connectivity in remote areas of India and also ensuring timely completion of roads and bridges.

Inauguration Of The Kupup-Sherathang Road

Rajnath Singh will be visiting Sikkim on October 11-12. On October 11, he will address the Army Commanders’ conference in Gangtok. Then, he will be celebrating Dussehra with frontline soldiers guarding the mountain frontier on October 12. During his visit, he will also inaugurate the strategic Kupup-Sherathang Road, one of the 75 projects.

As per a Hindustan Times report Rajnath Singh will also virtually inaugurate 22 roads, 51 bridges, and 2 other projects constructed by BRO during his visit. These projects are important as they were built under challenging conditions, including weather and terrain.
