1. Dholera International Airport, Gujarat

Located near Ahmedabad, Dholera International Airport is considered one of India’s most ambitious greenfield projects. As per a report by News18, the airport is spread over 1,400 hectares and is expected to open by late 2026. It will serve the Dholera Special Investment Region, and more than just a passenger hub, the airport is being built as an economic engine for international cargo movement and manufacturing investments.
