A Community Of Chefs

Among the special awards presented at FoodSuperstars 2024 was the Legend Chef Award, which went to the late Imtiaz Qureshi, who was celebrated for his lasting impact on Indian cuisine. Other notable recognitions included Vinesh Johny as Pastry Chef 2024, Ralph Prazeres as Young Chef 2024, and Neeraj Rawoot as Sustainable Chef 2024.

Raaj Sanghvi, CEO of Culinary Culture, expressed immense gratitude to the culinary community for supporting this unique platform. He highlighted the importance of recognising individual chefs over their restaurant affiliations, ensuring that the focus remains on their skills and creativity. The rigorous selection process involved a dedicated team of over 40 FoodHunters travelling across India to identify and vet outstanding talents, overseen by a secret jury led by Sanghvi himself.

Dressed elegantly in bespoke scarves from Tasva by Tarun Tahiliani, the chefs took centre stage as the list was unveiled, celebrating their collective achievements. The FoodSuperstars 2024 event also featured Culinary Conversations, a day of panel discussions highlighting various aspects of culinary arts.
