Oman Approves 19 Integrated Tourism Licenses
To make the country all the more attractive to tourists, Oman has approved ambitious plans for the hospitality and real estate sectors. As a result, this will help in the development of major tourism and real estate projects. In a report by Construction Week, it was mentioned that collectively the plan is to introduce more than 16,500 hotel rooms and 42,500 housing units spread across the country. The report also mentioned that these integrated tourism complexes will act as a catalyst towards the growth of the tourism industry. Yes, this is expected to be done by increasing the number of hotel rooms, expanding recreational facilities, and even improving the quality of services.

Plans To Introduce More Than 80 New Hotels In The Country
Moreover, this ambitious plan also aims to introduce more than 80 new hotels in the country, which is brilliant. As a result, this will also help in creating both direct and indirect employment in the country. In fact, the focus is also on integrated tourism complexes that will also help foreign individuals in purchasing real estate in Oman. As it happens, the hotel facilities in the project include 2,552 apartments, hotels & villas, 42,617 housing units, 16,576 hotel rooms, golf courses, and several harbours, restaurants, cafes & shops. At this point, it should be mentioned that Oman’s Ministry of Heritage & Tourism has granted these licenses and it also includes several projects in the cities of Muscat, Dhofar, South Al Sharqiyah, South Al Batinah, and Musandam.
