1. Mustard Oil
We have heard our grandparents and parents praising the qualities of mustard oil and saw them repeatedly using it for cooking. Known as a good source of monounsaturated fatty acids, it works well to reduce levels of bad cholesterol and increase good cholesterol levels. Containing antioxidants, it is anti-inflammatory and antibacterial. Apart from its strong flavours, it is perfect for deep frying all the yummy dishes because of its high smoking point.
2. Desi Ghee
Packed with fat-soluble Vitamin A, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, and Vitamin K, desi ghee is actually lactose-free. It is anti-inflammatory and has a high smoke point as well. You can use it to fry different delicacies. Ghee can also aid in improving gut health and boosting metabolism.
3. India’s Best Oils: Coconut Oil
Containing 60-70 per cent of medium-chain triglycerides, coconut oil is known for its antimicrobial and antifungal properties. It is a perfect ingredient for cooking, frying, and baking. It metabolises fast and is a great energy source.
4. Peanut Oil

5. Sesame Oil
