1.  Half-Eaten Food & Discarded Bottles On Vistara Aircraft

Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar expressed his disappointment with the condition of the cabin. He shared a photo of half-eaten food and discarded water bottles scattered around the floor of a Vistara aircraft. After attending the AI Safety Summit in the UK, the Union Minister decided to take the Vistara flight back to India. But he was appalled by the condition in which the aircraft was maintained. He said on X that while his Vistara journey from London to Delhi went well, the quality of the cabin and the service were disappointing.

2. Delay In Baggage Collection Bring Woes To Passengers At Chennai International Airport

Although the Chennai Airport’s recently renovated international terminal appears slick, travellers are nonetheless confronted with a few outdated problems. After a long-haul flight, passengers complained that having to wait for so long to get their luggage had become a tedious process. Travellers coming from overseas must wait more than an hour at the baggage claim area. A number of travellers who arrived in recent days from various locations—particularly the Middle East—had to wait anything from an hour to two hours to retrieve their luggage from the conveyor. Crowding has resulted at the location.

3. Singapore-Chennai Flights To Resume Soon

Beginning on November 5, Singapore Airlines’ low-cost arm, Scoot, will operate daily flights from Singapore to Chennai. At 11.50 p.m., Flight TR578 will arrive in Chennai from Singapore. It will take off as Flight TR579 at 12.35 a.m. and arrive at Singapore Changi at 07.20 a.m. (local time). The airline has been serving 66 locations in 15 different countries.

4.  Air India To Increase More Flight Routes

As part of the winter schedule for 2023, Air India intends to increase the number of weekly flights on its domestic and international routes by over 400 by March 2024. As a result of anticipated new aircraft deliveries, the airline plans to expand its India network by adding more than 200 weekly flights over the next six months. The planes would travel on a number of itineraries, stopping in important Indian cities like Mumbai and Delhi.

5. VietJet Starts Flight Services Between Tiruchi & Vietnam

Passenger flow from abroad at the non-metro With the inauguration of direct flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Tiruchi and back by VietJet Air, the biggest private airline in Vietnam, Tiruchi International Airport is set to grow. On Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 11.30 p.m., the inaugural VietJet flight from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, touched down in Tiruchi. Airport personnel greeted the arriving passengers cordially. In this sector, the airline will run an A-320 aircraft with 180 seats available. Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays are when the flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Tiruchi will be conducted. The early hours of Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays will see the operation of the services from Tiruchi to Ho Chi Minh City. Tiruchi has emerged as VietJet’s fifth destination in India. The airline has already made its service introductions in Kochi, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, and New Delhi.

6. SpiceJet Adds New Routes

SpiceJet stated on Friday that 44 new flights would be added to its current and new itineraries. The airline has also just taken delivery of eight Boeing 737s, four of which are 737 Max models.SpiceJet has revealed plans to add daily flights between Kolkata and Shillong to its network of routes. Additionally, the airline started operating a daily route that links Bangkok and Mumbai.
