Starting January 30, the budget-friendly airline will launch flights from Sharjah to Addis Ababa, making it even easier to explore the cultural and historical heart of East Africa. Looking for a quick and vibrant getaway? Well, pack your dancing shoes and head over to Barasti Beach, which is turning into a massive reggae festival to celebrate Bob Marley’s birthday. On Friday, February 7, Reggae Beachfest will take over Barasti from 5 PM to 3 AM, bringing the best of Jamaican culture to Dubai. Expect an all-star lineup, including The Legendary Wailers, and other top reggae acts, along with plenty of food, drinks, and good vibes. So, whether you’re a reggae enthusiast or just looking for a fun night out, this event promises to deliver non-stop party energy.

4. UAE Cracks Down On Hate Speech

In a move aimed at keeping the community safe and inclusive, the UAE has reiterated its zero-tolerance policy towards hate speech. The Public Prosecution has made it clear that anyone found guilty of spreading hate, whether online or offline, will face hefty fines and even jail time. Under the UAE’s Article 7 decree, those engaging in any form of hate speech could be slapped with a fine of up to Dh 1 million, along with a one-year jail sentence.

5. Riyadh’s Metro: The Orange Line Is Now Open!
