This famous long cable-stayed bridge in India is one of its kind! This bridge connects the Western Suburbs of Bandra to Worli in South Mumbai in under 10 minutes. The views from here are immaculate. It was opened in the year 2009 and can withstand earthquakes measuring up to 7 on the Richter scale. The construction cost for this is around ₹1,634 crore.

2. Atal Setu, Goa

It is also one of the longest cable-stayed bridges in India and Goa. it is also called the Third Mandovi Bridge which connects Panaji and Porvorim, over the Mandovi River. Earlier, there were ferry options to travel between these places but since 2019, the travel time has been cut short. However, you can still take the ferry route.

4. Kota Chambal Bridge, Rajasthan

It is a part of the Kota Bypass and crosses the Chambal River in Rajasthan. This was inaugurated in the year 2017 by Narendra Modi. The estimation of this project is around ₹214 crore. As the bridge is 60 metres above the Chambal River, it offers breathtaking views.

This is one of the longest cable-stayed bridges in West Bengal. It is also known as the Second Hooghly Bridge. Vidyasagar Setu is built over the Hooghly River which connects Howrah with Kolkata with easy flow of traffic. It was opened in 1992 and the project was for ₹388 crore.

It is commonly known as Manohar Setu and was undertaken by the National Highways Authority of India. This cable-stayed bridge connects the north to the south part of Goa. It is set over the Zuari River, hence the name. It was opened in just 2022 by Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari.

Built over the gushing Ravi River, this cable-stayed bridge was opened in 2015. The aim behind this project was to improve travel and road connectivity between the states of Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh. The bridge connects Basholi and Dunera and costs around ₹145 crore
