The Mumbai Trans Harbour Link or MTHL is currently not open to traffic. Popularly known as Atal Setu, the bridge closed over the weekend to host a huge marathon. Here are all of the important details that you would need to know about the timing of the reopening.

Mumbai Trans Harbour Link Road To Reopen For Traffic Today

Traffic on the Atal Setu was temporarily suspended over the weekend. This was owing to the L&T Sea Bridge Marathon which took place today. To prepare for the marathon, the sea bridge was closed for vehicular traffic from February 17, Saturday, 11 PM and will reopen on February 18, Sunday, at 1 PM.

According to an article which was recently published by livemint, this was done in order to avoid traffic woes on the bridge. The Mumbai Police shared an advisory on X (formerly known as Twitter), which stated the same.

It said that the marathon route is from Gadi Adda Mumbai to Chirle in Navi Mumbai. Heavy Vehicles, too, had restricted access which was also specified in the notice.
