This hype has also led to overcrowding which has further deteriorated the experience of visiting this place. Lonavala is the one getaway spot that Mumbaikars have. Its proximity to the city as well as to the mountains makes it the perfect hill station for a quick trip, whether solo or with friends and family. But people who only recently visited the spot end up finding it quite underwhelming.

The reel shows the expectations versus the reality of visiting the spot. It starts with the visitor being excited that they’re finally in Lonavala. They’re expecting to be spoilt for choice of fun things to do given how incredibly popular the location is. However, they’re in for some serious disappointment.

With the iconic Main Hoon Na movie’s “Main Yahaan Hoon” song playing in the background, the reel depicts the abundance of Maganlal Chikkis in Lonavala. “Maganlal Chikki,” “Real Maganlal Chikki,” “Original Maganlal Chikki,” and “Real Original Maganlal Chikki” all line the streets of Lonavala, leaving visitors chuckling and perplexed.

The funny reel struck a chord with a number of people. They all took to the comments section with funny quips. One commenter, referencing the famous Eminem songs wrote, “Will the real Maganlal Chikki please stand up?” Another commenter gave a shoutout to the famous wax museum which seems to be the only other thing to do in Lonavala.
