When it comes to flying privately, it’s not just about enjoying the aircraft ride away from the chaos of a crowded airport. It’s also about the experience before and after the flight. To give private flyers an even better flying experience, Flexjet has now opened a new private terminal in the UK.
Flexjet Introduces New Private Terminal At The UK Airport
Flexjet has opened a new private terminal at Farnborough Airport in the UK. It was built at a cost of $34 million and covers 2,098 square metres. With this launch, the company has opened its first private terminal in Europe. The new terminal is separate from Farnborough Airport’s main terminal. Flexjet staff will look after its passengers and provide them with a private and comfortable space before and after their flights.
Unlike a regular FBO lounge that allows different private and general aviation travellers, the new space is exclusively for Flexjet passengers. Get ready for an amazing private flying experience!

What’s Inside The Terminal?
- Flexjet Gulfstream G700 Fuselage Lounge: The lounge recreates the cabin of Flexjet’s flagship ultra-long-range aircraft and includes a private master bedroom suite for you to relax.
- Owners Bar & Lounge: Located at the centre of the terminal, it offers floor-to-ceiling views of the airfield, along with a bar menu and signature cocktails.
- ‘Aero’ Sculpture: The terminal features a commissioned sculpture called ‘Aero’ by British Canadian artist David Spriggs. It has cloud-like patterns inspired by wingtip vortices.
- Private Meeting Rooms: The terminal has private meeting spaces along with dedicated security screening and immigration facilities.
- European Headquarters: The upper floor houses Flexjet’s European headquarters and a Tactical Control Centre.
- Red Label Academy: Flexjet has expanded its training centre at the site. It prepares nearly 300 global Cabin Servers.
- Sustainable Features: The building has 138 solar panels expected to generate around 37,848 kWh of electricity every year. Its Syphonic Drainage system also collects and recycles rainwater for internal use.
Along with the new terminal, Flexjet has also opened a 3,530-square-metre MRO hangar at Farnborough Airport. It will take care of maintenance for Flexjet’s global fleet and help keep its aircraft ready to fly with fewer delays.
