A major KitKat robbery controversy has taken social media by storm. It has come to light that 12 tons of the chocolate, which is 4,13,793 crunchy bars, have been stolen. KitKat Robbery Gets A Meme Twist From The Brand

The pizza brand Domino’s took to its social media handle, reacting to the KitKat robbery. In the statement, the brand expressed condolence over the Kit Kat robbery but, in a hilarious twist, also announced its new KitKat pizza.

Reposting the KitKat post, KFC, over the sad news, made a joke. KFC is known for its “11 herbs and spices” recipe. So when they said “we were product testing for our 12th herb and spice,” they were jokingly pretending that they stole the KitKat bars to test a new ingredient.

Over making meme, the airlines is also not backing off. The Ryanair shared an AI-generated image in which the airline’s mouth is stuffed with KitKat chocolates.

Next, Tampa International Airport reacted to the KitKat robbery. The airport hinted that “Phoebe will be giving out little pieces of chocolate ahead of Easter for anyone who wants to have a break.”

DoorDash joined in with a hilarious “packaging error,” claiming they somehow ended up with 12 tons of KitKats. Their solution? Just add 500–600 bars to your cart and help clear it out.

Microsoft Edge kept it subtle, sharing a fake office email asking why there are 14 boxes of KitKats lying around, clearly “no connection” at all.

Even gaming got involved, as World of Warcraft posted an in-game screenshot showing “12T of KitKats” as loot, casually calling it a coincidence.

McDonald’s France flexed a dessert topped with KitKat, saying they still have some left “just in case.” Meanwhile, 7-Eleven Mexico introduced a “new” KitKat-flavoured drink, but only for a limited time.

DeLorean Motor Company added a dramatic touch, denying any involvement while casually showing a car full of KitKat bars, very convincing.

Cineplex kept it relatable, saying they feel for KitKat but also reminding everyone that you can secretly enjoy KitKat Pops in a dark movie theatre.

Joining the trend from India, Kerala Tourism added a local twist. They joked that the stolen KitKats haven’t reached Kerala yet and invited people to “take a break” and visit instead.

What Did Nestlé Say In Its Statement?

Nestlé released an official statement confirming that 12 tonnes of KitKat products were stolen while in transit between its factory in Central Italy and their destination in Poland. The company said it is working closely with local authorities and supply chain partners to investigate the incident. It also assured consumers that there are no safety concerns and that the overall supply remains unaffected.
