Golden Globes 2024: From Salmon Tartare To Yellowtail Jalapeño, A Glimpse Into Chef Nobu’s Luxe Menu

The much-awaited Golden Globes 2024 is all over social media with cinephiles celebrating their favourite stars winning big at the prestigious awards. With Oppenheimer bagging five wins including best motion picture drama and the Emma Stone-Mark Ruffalo starter, Poor Things gaining two victories there’s much to look forward to. Apart from films and who’s wearing what, if there’s another anticipated element of the Golden Globes 2024, it’s the menu! So, let’s give you a glimpse of it!

Chef Nobu Matsuhisa Helmed The Luxe Menu For The Golden Globes 2024

Japanese celebrity chef, Nobu Matsuhisa, curated the luxe menu for the 81st Golden Globe Awards. Chef Nobu Matsuhisa is known for his fusion cuisine which is a beautiful amalgamation of traditional Japanese dishes with Peruvian ingredients. The James Beard Awardee has fine-dining restaurants in many countries across the world.

According to a report by EatingWell, for the Golden Globes 2024, the stars relished a plethora of seafood mains and sides. On the official dinner menu was Salmon Tartare with Caviar. A refreshing appetiser to kickstart the top-tire award show, this is not the only salmon dish on the menu. Chef Nobu’s dinner spread featured his signature Yellowtail Jalapeño. In this dish, thin slices of Yellow Tail fish are lightly dipped in minced garlic and then plated with yuzu ponzu sauce and thin slices of jalapeno.

Celebrities Gorged On Nigiri Sushi, Sashimi Salad & More

Other dishes on the menu included the Sashimi Salad with Matsuhisa Dressing, Tai Matsuhisa Nigiri, Salmon Nigiri and Tuna Nigiri with Nikiri Soy. The three separate nigiri sushi dishes tantalised the taste buds of seafood lovers. Another Chef Nobu signature for the evening was the Miso Black Cod. The sweet, rich flavour of miso paired with the black cod was a showstopper for the evening. And finally, the stars sipped a variety of Moët & Chandon champagne. The official bottle of the night was Moët Impérial Brut. Rosé Impérial was also available.
