Gurugram is known for a lot of things apart from being the city of businesses and offices. It is known for having the best party destinations and now, it is going to have another honour added to its list. Gurugram will have a food street, named Happiness Food Street, spread over 4000 square metres of land. The food street will also house 50 vendors who will be serving food.
Upcoming Food Hotspot In Gurugram
The Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) is planning to come up with a food hotspot in Sector 12A, Old Gurugram. The food hotspot is inspired by the two other food hotspots in Indore – Sarafa Bazaar and Chappan Dukan. Both of these are famous for selling popular street food. The Sarafa Bazaar is a jewellery market which turns into a food hub by evening, whereas the Chappan Dukan is known for being the street food hub in Indore. Recently, Chappan Dukan also won the tag of being one of the cleanest street food hubs in the country.
HSVP informed that the Gurugram food hotspot will be one of the first kinds of food markets which will be selling drinks and eatables.
Vendors willing to get a spot for selling food in the upcoming food street can attend the auction on June 16. A minimum of ₹30 lakh to ₹99 lakh has been reserved as the price of the stalls.

Food Street To Have Two Areas
HSVP authorities informed the street will be divided into two locations in Sector 12 with adequate parking and decorated with beautiful fountains and water bodies. The authorities aim to make the spot a great and pleasant experience for the customers who visit the place.
An amount of ₹51 lakh has been approved for the development of the site.
This food street will turn out to be a major attraction in Old Gurugram as the place does not have major areas within its vicinity.
