Airlines Issue Travel Advisories
The downpour has affected traffic movement in areas like Aerocity, Mahipalpur, and the Delhi-Gurugram Highway as well. Waterlogging in these areas caused traffic snarls and prompted Delhi Airport and major airlines like Air India and IndiGo to issue travel advisories for flyers.
They requested passengers to consider alternative modes of transportation, like the Delhi Metro, to avoid any inconvenience and delays due to traffic congestion. The airport authorities also recommended that flyers check their flight statuses with the airlines before planning their travel.
