Helicopter Services Start From Haldwani In Uttarakhand To Improve Connectivity To Remote Areas In The State

In an innovative step to boost tourism and improve connectivity, Uttarakhand has now introduced a new helicopter service connecting Haldwani with Champawat, Munsiyari, and Pithoragarh. This service will improve connectivity with remote areas in Uttarakhand and most importantly strengthen emergency response capabilities in these areas.

Heli Services Link Haldwani With Munsiyari, Pithoragarh & Champawat

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami recently launched a new heli service in Uttarakhand. This transportation infrastructure development is part of the Regional Connectivity Scheme that was initiated to bridge the gap between remote areas in the state. This heli service will connect Haldwani with Munsiyari, Pithoragarh, and Champawat. These beautiful towns are known for their picturesque landscapes. Now, getting a chance to explore them from a height, is something to really look forward to!

The CM inaugurated the heli service virtually and talked about how it will help the people in remote areas and also boost tourism in these regions. The main highlight of the service is that it will be a major help during relief and rescue efforts during any emergency. It will also help facilitate travel – both for locals and tourists.
