Karan Johar’s Eureka Moment After A Turbulent Flight To Delhi
On Netflix’s The Kapil Sharma Show, Bhavana Pandey shared that she was travelling on a flight with Neelam Kothari, Maheep Kapoor, Seema Sajdeh and Karan Johar. The celebrities were flying to Delhi. During their journey, it started raining heavily which caused turbulence. Seema and Bhavana were frightened. Neelam was busy applying lipstick during the turbulence because she felt the need to look her best in case there was an emergency landing. Meanwhile, Maheep laughed at them.
Karan Johar, for a change, sat quietly, observing his friends’ reactions during the turbulence. Bhavana said perhaps he got the idea for Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Lives from that incident. As he was thoroughly entertained, he felt the world would be entertained as well.
Fabulous Wives Flew To Delhi For A Funeral
During an interview with Tanmay Bhatt and Rohan Joshi for the show’s 3rd season— Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives— the celebrities elaborated on the incident. Maheep, Neelam and Bhavana revealed they were actually flying to Delhi for someone’s funeral. On the flight, the friends were discussing how blingy their outfits looked for a sombre occasion. Neelam revealed, “Someone was overdressed, someone was underdressed.” While Maheep quipped that a funeral is also a look.

Maheep said that they were a “blooming mess”. So, Karan Johar decided to make a show on them as his friends were “cartoons.” The latest season of the show has Delhi socialites Shalini Passi, wife of Sanjay Passi, chairman of the PASCO Group, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, daughter of the late actor Rishi Kapoor; and Kalyani Saha Chawla, the ex-wife of Delhi businessman Vishal Chawla. The trio join Neelam, Maheep, Seema and Bhavana for a Delhi vs Mumbai battle.
