Healthcare in the UAE can come with a hefty price tag, but your Emirates Health Services (EHS) health card gives you access to affordable care at government hospitals. Renewing your health card ensures uninterrupted access to essential healthcare services, including a 20% discount on all EHS services with a linked Emirates ID. For People of Determination (PoD), the perks are even sweeter, they get all services for free.
How Is Emirates ID’s Expiration Linked To Health Card Renewal?
While your health card is linked to your Emirates ID, don’t confuse their expiration dates. UAE residents need to renew their health cards annually, while UAE and GCC nationals enjoy a five-year validity. With this quick guide, you’ll breeze through the renewal process like a pro.
