Most people think that their home cities or the places they currently live are better than other cities in India. People usually have their justifications ready to show why their city is superior, whether it be in terms of cuisine, travel, or destinations. One such competitor is Bengaluru. A post on social media platform X asserts ‘Hyderabad is the new Bangalore,’ making it a new participant in the Bengaluru vs. other cities rivalry. This tweet made the assertion while showcasing Hyderabad’s striking high-rises and tech parks.

Bengaluru Vs. Hyderabad: New Competition On X

A debate on social media platform X has been started by a user, Venkatesh Gupta, who is a product manager. The user shared a few photos with the caption, ‘Hyderabad is the new Bangalore.’ Well, after seeing this post, folks on social media had a lot to say. But first, what does Hyderabad have to offer?

Overtaking Bengaluru, Mumbai-MMR, Delhi-NCR, Ahmedabad, and Chennai, Hyderabad’s real estate market is now expanding at the highest rate in India. As per Knight Frank India’s India Prime City Index, residential launches have experienced the greatest compound annual growth rate of 10% in the last ten years.

With consistent residential growth, Bengaluru continues to be the most popular destination for commercial occupiers. It ranks second in terms of overall real estate growth, followed by Chennai, Mumbai-MMR, Delhi-NCR, and Ahmedabad.

Hyderabad’s home prices rose 11% in 2023 as a result of strong demand from people looking for residential places as well as investors.
