We are thankful to delivery agents who deliver food late at night. But this Swiggy delivery boy in Hyderabad went the extra mile to deliver the order to a customer who had added the wrong address. After his professionalism, Netizens are praising him for doing his duty even late at night!

Hyderabad: Swiggy delivery Boy Travel Extra 12 KM For Late Night Order

Netizens nationwide are praising a delivery agent who went above and beyond, both physically and figuratively, to fulfil a late-night request. Journalist Tamal Saha revealed on Sunday that he placed an order for takeaway from Swiggy in Hyderabad following a demanding day.

Saha entered the incorrect location in the app, though, because he is unfamiliar with the place. The delivery man was unable to get to Saha as a result, but rather than cancel the delivery, Mohammed Azam, the delivery agent, worked with Saha to make sure he received his lunch even though it required him to go more than 12 km. At 3 am, Azam then delivered the order.

In his post, Tamal Saha wrote about the delivery boy’s professionalism and kindness. He expressed his heartfelt thank you to the delivery boy, Mohammad Azam. According to Saha, Azam restored his confidence in people, that decent people still exist. Though camera shy, he captured my heart.

And it will be his favourite memory in the Telangana Diary and he bid farewell to the delivery boy with a smile and a ‘good night’. When he inquired about Azam’s plan to call it a night, he said that he would have food after he went home. The user also offered to share his food, but he didn’t want anything but just asked to remember him in prayers.

Netizens Praise The Delivery Agent

After noticing this story of the delivery boy, Netizens are praising him. A user praised this wonderful person and stated it was time he got what he needed. He is not sure how much money he will make from this work; it might be a part-time gig as well.

Another user wrote that even if humanity may have suffered certain setbacks, we may still hope for it because of these insignificant acts of kindness from complete strangers.

One of the users commented that it seems that throughout your call, you gave him a nice tip, and he sensed that.

Another user shared his story and stated that he even experienced a similar incident. The only difference was he had ordered at 8:30 pm but got his order at 11:00 pm.

A user wrote, “Kudos to Mohammed Azam”. He further wrote that this keeps humanity alive in people and that it was nice of the journalist to mention this incident. Most of the time, people do kindness but are ignored.

A user expressed his gratitude and wrote that it was a wonderful tale with many lessons for us to learn. However, the majority of humanity is faceless and religious.
