According to an article which was recently published by the New York Post or NYP, the video was shared on July 1, 2024. The video showed the artist narrating what happened with tears streaming down her face. She had evidently been crying for quite some time as her eyes were puffy and red.

She was on a United Airlines flight from Newark to New Orleans. The artist said that she wanted to give water to her Brussels Griffon dog. However, the crew strictly forbade her from removing her dog from its carrier. In the caption of the now-deleted post, Longshore said that she was forced to shove and smash her dog under her seat.

The crew threatened that they would have her kicked off the flight if she refused to comply. This was upsetting for the artist as the flight was three hours long and she was worried about her dog’s hydration. She even called this treatment animal abuse.
