Plastic-strewn Kedarnath pictures took over social media recently, leaving netizens appalled. Pilgrims who visited Kedarnath during the Char Dham yatra, left the route to Kedarnath looking like a sea of garbage. The lush greenery and snowcapped mountains were littered with all kinds of waste which is detrimental to the ecology. It even has the potential to lead to landslides. If that wasn’t enough, then an IAF officer shared a picture of a paan stain in an airplane, near the window seat. When will we Indians learn to keep our surroundings clean? Red Colour Paan Stained Seat On Aircraft Shocks Netizens

IAF officer Awanish Sharan took to Twitter to share pictures of the walls of an aircraft near the window seat painted red with paan stains. He shared the picture on the microblogging site with the caption ‘Somebody left their identity behind’. The picture looks more like a paan stained bus stand or railway station than actual aircraft. Public spaces in Inda are stained are tainted with betel nut stains despite repeated warnings and fines. Now, to witness a paan stain in an aircraft is shocking to another level.

Netizens Take Jibes At Celebrities Endorsing Paan Masala Products

This picture garnered a lot of attention on social media. The post received over 16,000 likes and around 1500 retweets.  Some netizens called for strict action to be taken against the violators and others came up with witty replies. One social media user said that the seat should be reserved for actors promoting paan and gutka. Others took jibes at Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn for promoting paan masala products.
