And its finally here! The most awaited event of the year- the Expo 2020 kicked off with an Uber-grand opening ceremony on 30 September. Dubai’s Al Wasl Plaza burst with colors and came alive with music, dance, drama and some star-studded projections, kicking off the world’s biggest show. 2. 8:12 PM: The Al Wasl dome comes to life with a spectacular Flag ceremony of 190-plus participant countries. The moving display was layered by the soulful vocals of Abdo and Kidjo.
