According to the new move, now UAE nationals will get visa on arrival for up to 60 days in one go. There’s more though for the extended visa will only be given out to UAE nationals who have already obtained an e-Visa or a paper visa for India earlier. This applies even if they haven’t visited the country before. However, if you are a first-timer UAE national visiting India for the first time on a visa then you will have to do it from scratch by applying for an e-Visa or a regular visa from the UAE embassy.

“The government of India, with effect from November 16, 2019, has decided to extend the Visa-on-Arrival facility to nationals of the United Arab Emirates. This facility is aimed at further strengthening people to people and trade links as well as strategic ties between the two countries,” the embassy said in a statement.

So, if you have been planning on visiting India for a while now, this is your opportunity to see it with a lot of time in hand. Make the most of it and happy holidays!
