Hey Curly Tales fam! We know you’ve been excited about our new Sunday Brunch episode. This time, we had a great chat with one of Bollywood’s fittest actresses, Malaika Arora. She shared some of her healthy secrets that keep her skin glowing and body fit, even at 50. Plus, she revealed two must-try recipes you can make at home. Read on to know more!
Malaika Arora Shares Two Delicious Recipes
This week, our Sunday Brunch focused on healthy secrets from Malaika Arora. One of her iconic recipes was Paneer Thecha, and now she has shared two more exciting dishes. Kamiya Jani and Malaika discussed how many people have recreated the Paneer Thecha recipe at home. The new recipes are Green Thai Curry Rice and Mango Sticky Rice—and just hearing the names is enough to make your mouth water.
Malaika makes Thai curry at home and shared her tips. She mentioned that she personally goes to Pali Market to buy Thai herbs like galangal, lemongrass, coconut milk, and fresh green paste. You can make it with vegetables, chicken, or anything you like, though she prefers vegetable Thai curry. She emphasised that the Thai paste must be fresh and fragrant. Add it to the vegetables, then pour in coconut milk. For lemongrass, she said, “don’t be kanjoos”, use enough. You can also add vegetable stalks and Thai basil, which she calls her secret ingredient. Serve it with jasmine rice, and your dish is ready for an amazing food treat. Don’t forget to squeeze a little bit of lemon on top.

How To Make Mango Sticky Rice?
Another favourite of Malaika Arora is Mango Sticky Rice. For this dish, she uses Thai mango puree, chopped mango pieces, a layer of sticky rice with coconut milk, some brown sugar with a slight burnt flavour, and tops it with vegan ice cream. We also tried the gelato option.
Talking about meals, Malaika revealed that she has been vegan for a long time. She sometimes eats non-vegetarian food but prefers vegetarian meals. She also shared that after a wholesome afternoon meal, a nap is a must for her.
