Amruta Fadnavis Shares First Meet-Up Story With Devendra Fadnavis

While relishing a deeply nutritious lunch with Amruta Fadnavis, Kamiya Jani asked her to narrate her first meet-cute story with her husband, Devendra Fadnavis. She said, “It was a typical arranged marriage.” Speaking about the ritual, Amruta shared that male prospects arrive at the woman’s home for a meet-up, where he is served home-cooked food prepared by her. At that time, she found the custom a bit unusual. So, Amruta decided to meet Devendra Fadnavis outside her family home.

Amruta first met her husband at a programme organised by his friend. The couple got talking, and after meeting each other for 2-3 times, they decided to get married to each other. Knowing that she had to discuss a lot of things with her future partner in a comfortable set-up, Amruta made this decision. When the duo first met, Devendra Fadnavis was a second time MLA. He was into politics. He had an impression of being an honest and transparent MLA.

The doting wife revealed her husband always used politics like a tool for social change. She realised after her first meet-up with Devendra Fadnavis that he was a very understanding man. He always put an effort to understand her side of the story too. Moreover, she was also impressed by how “suljhe hue” or sorted he was in his mind. His clarity of thought and balanced nature attracted her.
