For The Love Of Food, Divyenndu Sharma Can Travel The World

On our latest episode of Tere Gully Mein, we met with Divyenndu Sharma and Radhika Apte for a food trail in Versova. Besides trying a lot of delicious food, we also got a deep dive into their lives as actors, their love for food and travel, and a lot more. Read on to find out how it went.

Divyenndu Sharma Would Teleport To This Country For Food

For the most part, this episode was about finding out the best momos in Versova. And at the first stop, when Radhika Apte and Divyenndu Sharma spotted mayonnaise served with the momos, they were shocked. They instantly travelled back to their early days of eating momos, when it was just a cheap roadside snack served with a bowl of soup.

Noting their passion while discussing momos, it was clear that they were big foodies. Divyenndu even revealed that his love for food runs so deep that he would travel for food. If somebody tells him that he needs to reach a certain spot to get an amazing dish, he would go the extra mile to try it. In fact, he would also make friends with people who served great food at their houses. That’s certainly a big commitment to good food!

When asked if there was one place in the world that he could be teleported to right now, Divyenndu revealed that for him, that place would be Italy, for his sheer love of food. He believes that the country as a whole has such decadence to offer that even basic things like spaghetti or pomodoro are simply brilliant.

When it came to Radhika Apte, she revealed that if she could teleport at the moment, she would always choose her home, where her kids are. And what is the one thing that she would cook for them? Well, Radhika Apte spilt some of her secret talents and revealed that she is a big-time baker, and a good one at that. She loves to bake cakes regularly.

Apparently, her husband is an even better chef when it comes to savoury dishes, and he is the one who cooks more often. In fact, Radhika Apte even reminisced about her pregnancy days, when she would just sit in one place and get fed by her husband and his delicious food.
